January2022! We are recruiting qualified Primary and Secondary English teachers for an exciting opportunity in Brunei

Please note that we’re serious about these minimum requirements and will not consider anyone who doesn’t meet them.

Primary English teacher:

• A native English speaker from UK, IRE, CAN, AUS, NZ
• Maximum age 54 (due to government restrictions)
• Option 1: Bachelor of Education (not B.e.d TESOL) + 3 years’ Primary experience (after qualifying, must be recent)
• Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) + PGCE + 3 years’ Primary experience (after PGCE must be recent)
• Please note that TEFL,TESOL,CELTA….are not counted as teaching licence 
• Able to provide a background check (less than 6 months old) from your home country or last country of residence
• Able to pass a health check
• Able to provide 2 professional references for teaching experience

English secondary teacher: 

• A native English speaker from UK, IRE, CAN, AUS, NZ
• Maximum age 54 (due to government restrictions)
• Option 1: Bachelor of Education (not B.e.d TESOL) + 3 years’ Secondary English experience (after qualifying, must be recent)
• Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) + PGCE + 3 years’ Secondary English experience (after PGCE must be recent)

• Able to provide a background check (less than 6 months old) from your home country or last country of residence
• Able to pass a health check
• Able to provide 2 professional references for teaching experience

Package Details

• Salary: 3500-5000 BND/month
• Accommodation allowance: generous allowance
• End of contract bonus: equal to 1/6 of total salary
• Flight allowance: for teacher, spouse and children
• Education allowance: approx. 80% of fees for up to 2 children
• Baggage allowance: 200-500 GBP (incoming) and 875-1200 BND (outgoing)
• Children allowance: 150 BND per child per month
• Settling in allowance: 500 BND
• Car: loan available
• Approx 10 weeks of school holidays per year
• Medical insurance

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
TESOL or TEFL certificate
At least 1 year experience
Able to transfer working visa

Salary: 21k-31k plus benefits (accommodation, insurance, flights....)
