We have two (2) vacancies for native English speakers to join a team of four instructors teaching university freshman students. The program consists of business foundations, academic English and university preparation.  These positions will start in mid-September, 2021 and will be on ten (10) month contracts. 

The program aims to prepare students to study in a Bachelor of Business program which is delivered by an Australian university in English.  The learning materials will be prepared but you certainly have some freedom to enhance them as you see fit.

You will have a lot of free time to do other things in this position so it is perfect for someone who wants to study by distance (one teacher recently completed an MBA as a full-time student by distance), find another job on the side or work on your Chinese.

The location is TEDA - which has a large variety of Western bars/pubs, grocery stores with almost all of your essentials and is about an hour from Beijing South on the fast train.

On offer:

Salary: 10,000 rmb/month (negotiable on this)

Hours: 18 class hours/week (45 min lessons) – usually no weekends and no evenings

Holidays: winter holiday (6-7 weeks) will be paid with full salary 

Housing: free furnished, single apartment within walking distance of campus provided 

Completion bonus:  One full month's salary will be paid on completion in July, 2022. 

Requirements:

Preference is for teachers already living in China

Age: below 57

Nationality:  must be native English speaker from US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand

Education: at least Bachelor level and a TESOL/TEFL etc certificate

Experience: prefer at least two years
